The 3.4A thermally protected motor comes with a built-in automatic cut-off, and the ventilator includes a 15A adjustable thermostat. Precision balanced aluminum fan blades are included to minimize vibration. Additionally, the ventilator has 6-point suspensions for stability and high wind resistance. It is suitable for up to an 8/12 roof pitch and requires a minimum of 600 sq. in. net free area intake vent area.

This ventilator includes galvanized steel mesh grills to protect against insects, birds, and rodents, while also allowing for adequate air intake. Installation is made easy with no special tools required, and it comes with a 2 year limited warranty on all parts.

Three variations of the ventilator are available: No. CX1000AM, No. CX1000AMBL, and No. CX1000AMWG. All three variations have the same specifications, including 1080 cfm, galvanized steel material, a 1600 sq ft suitable attic size, 3.4A motor size, and suitability for up to an 8/12 roof pitch. The only difference is the color, with options for mill, black, or weathered gray.
