The Heagstat H701 is a 24VAC conventional single-stage system non-programmable thermostat designed for home use. This digital thermostat is equipped with convenient features such as a backlit display, easy-to-read interface, and simple operation with slide switches to select heat or cool mode.

Compatibility: The Heagstat H701 thermostat is compatible with single-stage heating and cooling systems, including central gas, oil, and electric furnaces. However, it is important to note that it is not compatible with electric baseboard heat, conventional multistage systems, heat pump systems with Aux or Emergency Heat, proprietary/communicating/serial protocol, mini-split systems, and 12V RV thermostats.

Installation Precautions: It is essential to carefully follow the installation and wiring instructions provided with the product. If you are inexperienced in installation, it is advised to exercise caution to avoid potential problems such as product malfunction due to incorrect installation or incompatible purchases. Additionally, the base can only accommodate 2 to 5 wires, and connections with 6 to 8 wires are not suitable.

Compatible and Incompatible Systems: The Heagstat H701 is compatible with single-stage heating and cooling systems, including electric or gas/oil configurable systems, boiler radiant heating, forced-air heating, and cooling only. It is not compatible with multistage heating and cooling, heat pump systems with auxiliary or emergency heating, dual fuel/hybrid heating, mini-split systems, 12V RV thermostats, electric baseboard heat, convectors, and radiant ceiling heat.

Temperature Control and Features: This thermostat offers accurate temperature control with a range of 44°F to 90°F and a room temperature display range of 41°F to 95°F. It also supports separate heating and cooling swing adjustments, room temperature error display calibration, and 5-minute compressor delay protection. The display features a green backlight, making it easy to read and suitable for middle-aged and elderly users.
